Recorded live at Moods Club Zurich on August 28, 2023.
„Who Cares“ was written for the album „Stranger“ released in 1997. It is probably the most important song on this CD, as it is representative of all the songs on „Stranger“ and takes a thoughtful and critical look at the things of life. Probably this is expressed in the strong energy that this song radiates, which arises from anger and powerlessness around the many unanswered questions.

LYRICS
«Who Cares»
Oceans lying at death’s door, poisoned atmosphere voice of animals grows dumb, earth is undermined Sunshine’s getting dangerous, speech of nature’s strange Words of vanishing races low, human mind slows down Who cares – just takin’ and grabbin’ and takin’ all the time
Who cares – when we get everything and feel sublime
Struggle for power’s more than rough, rising technology Adventure attitudes increase, friendship’s getting dear
Entreating animal eyes, needy wretches point their fingers at us Homeless people beg, no future children try to survive Dustbin nature repels, our conscience is doing a bold Are we all becoming slaves? Truth has become a reality show
Who cares – just takin’ and grabbin’ and takin’ all the time Who cares – when we get everything and feel sublime
